# In Perpetuity > A deal checker for freelance UGC (user-generated content) creators. Paste a brand's offer - an email, a brief or a contract excerpt - and your base rate per video. The page reads the terms, prices them as estimates on your own rate, marks up the offer and sets the fee on a rate thermometer. Two metered lanes: a clause-by-clause term review (sign / counter / walk away) and the counter email you send back (accept / counter / decline). Not legal advice. URL: https://in-perpetuity.skillsafe.ai/ API: https://in-perpetuity.skillsafe.ai/api.html ## What runs free in the browser (dealkit.js) - Reading the offer into a term sheet: number of videos, fee (0 = product only), usage (paid ads or organic) and its months or "perpetual", whitelisting (ads run from the creator's own handle), exclusivity months, revision rounds (or unlimited), payment days, raw footage, extra hooks, rush turnaround - plus clause signals: AI or likeness use, ownership wording (work for hire, assign all rights, irrevocable), kill fee, disclosure. The person can correct every term. - Pricing on the creator's base rate (one video with 30 days of the brand's organic use), using common creator-side rules of thumb shown on the page: paid usage 25% for a month up to 200% past a year or in perpetuity; organic usage past 30 days 10-50%; whitelisting 50-100%; exclusivity 15% a month (cap 12); raw footage 40%; extra revision rounds 10% each; unlimited revisions 30%; extra hooks 15% each; rush 25%. Estimate = base + add-ons; floor 85%, stretch 120%, walk line 50%. These are estimates, not market data. - Flags (deal-breaker / negotiate / worth knowing) and a page verdict: walk away for pay under the walk line, product-only pay for ad rights or exclusivity, an AI or likeness clause, or two deal-breakers; counter for any other flag; sign otherwise. - The redline (the offer with each term underlined in its flag's colour and a numbered margin note), the rate thermometer, and exports: Markdown, a rate-stack CSV, a deal JSON, the email as text. ## The metered lanes (one prompt, routed by `task`) - `review` - returns `{task, title, verdict: sign|counter|walk, summary, clauses: [{quote, topic, level: ok|negotiate|walk, note, ask}], missing: [{term, why}], asks: [{ask, priority: must|nice}], numbers: []}`. The page checks that every quote is the offer's own words, that every deal-breaker the page flagged is answered, and that no internal field names leak into the prose. - `counter` - returns `{task, title, verdict: accept|counter|decline, summary, subject, email, line_items: [{item, offered, asking, why}], total_ask, walk_away, trades: [], followup}`. The page checks that the line items add up to the total, that the total is at or above the brand's offer and the creator's minimum, that the email states the total, and shows the total against the page's estimate. - Handoff: the review's asks fill the counter lane's "what to ask for" field with one button. ## Sources - @aaron-he-zhu/contract-helper - https://skillsafe.ai/skill/@aaron-he-zhu/contract-helper (influencer agreement terms read clause by clause; the term review) - @jmsktm/brand-partnership-negotiator - https://skillsafe.ai/skill/@jmsktm/brand-partnership-negotiator (negotiating brand partnership deals; the counter email) - Trend: "UGC creator" is listed at +8,600% on Exploding Topics' trending topics (https://explodingtopics.com/blog/trending-topics), October 2026.
